Hi George,

I am the I.T. Manager at August Home Publishing (the parent company of WoodworkingOnline.com) and I was asked to respond to your question.

There is no security built in to any of the podcast downloads. Some companies use DRM (Digital Rights Management) software to control the use of their media, however we do not. So, burning a backup of the file to CD-ROM should not be a problem for you from our perspective.

I'm wondering if the CD burning software that you are using is a trial version that has expired? Whatever license message you are getting is likely related to the software you're using or your computer itself.

Obviously this hasn't been much help, but there is no technical reason (from our perspective) that would prevent you from burning the file to a CD. Please respond if I can answer any more questions for you.

Thanks,

Brian VanHeuverswyn

These podcasts are fantastic.Just one question,I tried to put them on a cd, but was given the message that I didn't have a license or authorization. Am I doing something wrong or am I not supposed to copy. I use Windows Media player.
