Great -- I love the attention to little details--like demo of actual sanding. So far I have really benefited by all of your advice in the different podcasts.
Many thanks.

I just finished watching the episode on "Oils and Varnishes" for the third time. I found it to be excellent. I do have one question though. In the segment he refers to Arm R Seal and then makes reference to Seal A Cell as though they were the same product, which they are not. What is the difference between the two?
Thank you

Good presentation. The negative comments about the difficulty in applying shellac and "no protection" against alcohol or water is not accurate, however. Fresh dewaxed shellac has reasonable water resistance, alcohol of course will dissolve it if left in contact for a period of time. Shellac can be very easy to apply if you pad it on, easier than varnishes in my opinion.
